Capabilities

The instructors at LSA North, Inc. hold many, and varied, advanced ratings and endorsements.  We are able to instruct in many different aircraft.  If you need instruction in your own aircraft, or would like to rent one of ours, please call or email us to discuss your personal training needs.  We specialize in the basics of Stick-n-Rudder Flight Training!

Keith Flanagan’s fulltime occupation is Office / HR Manager for an international software development company with offices in Eagan MN, Paris France and Quebec City Canada.  We have our own software language and tools.  We have developed a package of modules for the Insurance industry and are expanding to other industries.

Keith was first certified as a flight instructor in 1975.  He has three of the instructor certificates, Airplane Single - and Multi- Engine Land and Instrument.  He is very close to getting the Glider Instructor certificate. 

He has over 3700 hours total time and over 2000 hours as an instructor.  Most of his time has been in the C-172, but he also has time in C-150, C-152, C-172XP, C-182, C-182RG, C-206, C-207, C-310, Apache 160, Citabria, Cherokee 180, and a Blanik L-23.

Keith is a Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force Auxiliary, the Civil Air Patrol, MN Wing.  He has over 30 years of volunteer service to his credit.
